octovis provides visualization for octomap based on Qt and libQGLViewer.

octovis is available in the ros-$ROS_DISTRO-octomap debian package. As an alternative, you can download the package yourself from http://octomap.github.io and compile it with the library stand-alone or against a locally installed octomap library.

To install octovis on Ubuntu using the pre-built packages, run

sudo apt-get install ros-$ROS_DISTRO-octovis

This will install OctoMap and octovis as stand-alone libraries with no ROS dependencies, so they can be also used in a non-ROS setting.

Use GitHub to report bugs or request features. For questions and discussions, check the OctoMap mailing list.
